Tanner's Science Fair Project

Tanner had a great time working on his science fair project. He had several 'volunteers' put their feet in freezing ice water and timed them to see how long they could keep their foot in. This was the 'pain' control test. Then he had us, oh um, the 'volunteers, put their feet in ice water again, but this time had them play video games while he was timing them.
He was excited to learn that playing video games distracted the volunteers from their uncomfortableness and were able to hold their foot in the freezing temperatures for a longer period of time than without games. Cool. Good job kiddo.
