If You Give A Mom A Minute

If you give a mom a minute,
She just might sit down to read a book.

But then, she will realize that she hasn't had lunch yet,
So she will get up and warm up a bowl of homemade soup.

After eating the soup,
She will want a glass of chocolate milk.

So, she makes herself some chocolate milk,
And then remembers that the laundry needs changed.

After changing the laundry,
She will remember that she needs to write in her journal
And then Blog it.
And then FaceBook it.

After she is done FaceBooking,
The dishwasher will be finished and ready to unload.

After unloading the dishwasher,
She will be startled by the kitchen door opening.

The kids are home from school
And they just want a minute of mom's time.
