So, having an 11 year old come out of anesthesia isn't side cracking hilarious, but it was a little amusing. Even after the 6th or 7th time that he relates to you his "going under" story, because he has forgotten that he just told you that story about 30 seconds ago. His story was only one or two sentences and went something like this.
"They put a needle in my arm and I laid back and closed my eyes. Then BOOM, two seconds later they woke me up!!"
The "boom" part was my favorite. He said it in EVERY version of the story. Which is quite a feat, because it is not easy to make the B sound when your whole face is numb. In fact, it was with much concentration and effort that he tried to make that sound. He even mentioned in one of his versions of this story, that some of the alphabet "letters just don't work".
Gotta love it.
The vomiting is a lot less funny. In fact, he just informed me that he puked up his noodles, so this is the end of my post.

THat's awesome. j barfed up his hotdog from lunch and covered his booster. then he barfed up more in the swimming pool. we're staying at my sister's mil's house which is wall to wall carpeting. awesome, eh?
i layed towels all around his pack.n.play in case he decides to wake up in the middle of the night, stand up to scream, and ralph (it's happened before).
don't you love when they're old enough to clean it up themselves? or better yet, make it to the bowl in time?
