Dance Recital

The theme of the recital was about celebrating the different seasons and holidays throughout the year.
Hallie was in the 4th of July section. She did the cutest tap dance number. It included lifts, dancing on top of boxes and other fun and exciting choreography. There was a part in the dance where she looks like a sparkler or a fire cracker. I loved it. She had so much fun and looked so cute in her sailor costume!
Ashly was in two different jazz numbers. The first one was for autumn. It was a beautiful flowing piece. She had a solo part in it that she did perfect! She really liked this dance, especially the split side leaps. It made me my mom cry!
The second jazz number she did was to the song "A Nightmare Before Christmas". It was very cool with funky choreography. It was the closing number and the perfect way to cap the evening.

I can't wait to get the dvd.
