Why is it so hard to blog without a working camera? I dunno either. I have been thinking of just blogging my thoughts. Pretty good idea if you ask me, except that I don't feel like sharing my thoughts lately. Sorry, I'm just not going to divulge my deep thoughts. I will however, share one spiritual thing that has been on my mind.
I can't remember if I was reading 3 Nephi or Doctrine and Covenants 82ish. Doesn't matter, they both basically say the same thing. Jesus tells us to consider the Lilies, and the sparrows. It is so true that the Lord provides everything that they need to live, through no effort of their own. We are, as His sons and daughters, more valuable than sparrows and lilies. Therefore, yes, He can and will provide for us as well. Food, raiment, healthcare, whatever we need. What do we need to do to qualify these wonderful blessings? Easy. Make the things of eternity your #1 priority of the day. Read, ponder, pray, love and teach your family! It took me awhile to get this message that he has been trying to send me. He literally told me (in a sweet blessing) to stop worrying so much about day to day stuff. Money, jobs, lessons, illness etc. He can take care of it all.
I look back over the last couple of decades and wonder how I ever made it. (Financially I mean) It should have been impossible. In retrospect, I can see His powerful blessing and influence in providing for me. It is much harder to see it at the present. But He's there. Helping.
After finally getting this message through my thick skull, you wouldn't believe how much better I sleep at night, and how much better I feel.
Now that this is learned, I have to continue in the Faith and make the things of eternity my #1 daily task.
