119th post

I love the sounds and the smells and all sensations associated. I remember hearing the clunk as the scrap fell to the ground... that is so satisfying. When I turned it on, I loved the loud whizzing and the tickle in my palm from grasping the handle. I secretly had a big smile on my face. It had been too long and I needed to become re-aquainted. It sure is a good thing that my neighbor has one.

Next came the ever dangerous yet much needed. There is no comparison to the smooth feel of the slice while your hand contracts.

Oh, and the rhythm of your arm and shoulder muscles that create music as your art begins to take shape.

My favorite, best ever gift? No question.

What was the final product? A backboard. Yes, a backboard. Our basketball hoop was in serious need of a new backboard. My boys spend hours and hours out there shooting hoops. They were very deserving. It was so frustrating when the ball would go through the backboard frame where the old board that was screwed up there is now missing.

What's next? Flames of course!! Did you really have to ask! I am going to paint flames on the backboard because ALL BOYS need flames. Right? I'm such a cool mom.

Thanks S for the time, supplies and assistance. Your the best.
