So, this is what Ashly wears 23 out of 24 hours of every day. She has adjusted very well and is tolerating the discomfort. She is such a good sport! The brace begins immediately under her armpits and goes down below her hips. He only gave her enough room to sit in a chair at 90 degrees. She can't bend over to tie her shoes or pick anything up on the floor. Everyone has been pitching in to help her out though.
She will continue to wear this until she quits growing, could be a year, could be 4 years. We don't know yet.
She has another x-ray schedule to see if the brace is actually doing it's job. If not, they will make adjustments accordingly.
Did she want soccer balls? No. He messed up.
She wanted red.
He said he will make her a new one as soon as we know that this brace is doing what it should. I don't think she wants to live with the soccer balls plastered to her torso.
Thanks for everyone's help and prayers. We really do appreciate it.

Ash - you are amazing - you go girl!! You get to live the "no pain - no gain" thing to the 100th degree, huh? So, are you still interested in some soccer cleats? Tell me again what size...
