This is my new creation. I call it jewelry on a cabinet door. I don't really like the ribbon mount, any suggestions? I got the board at IKEA in their "as is" section, only 49 cents!! The knobs were also at IKEA , 1.99 for half a dozen. Pretty reasonable if you ask me! My old jewelry cabinet was just insufficient with the 8 little hooks that spin in a circle and drawers that were too small for my braclets. I like this much better. Now, what to do with those earrings.......

oh i think it turner out so cute. i love the ribbon. ya i am not creative so i dont have any ideas for the earings but i think this is really cute.
it looks even better in a picture not taken on a cell phone! and especially since now i know it's a 2 buck wonder. my, how creative you are. will you come decorate my new house (if i ever get one)?

Let me know if you figure out what to do with the earrings.
If you don't like the ribbon, you could just get picture hanging wire and screw that into the back starting at about the middle so that the wire is completely hidden and then you'd just have a sleek contemporary rectangle hanging on your wall. BTW it is VERY nice. I like it.
