Dallan was asked by a member of the Bishopric (his father) to help with the collection of fast offerings today. It was his very first time. He went out with Brother Garner (whom Dallan adores) in the pouring rain and collected the contributions. He told me that he had a lot of fun and that people gave him their left over Halloween candy! Dallan is so excited to be 12 in a few months and receive the Priesthood and take on those responsibilities associated with being a Deacon. It's so fun for me as his mother to watch him grow and become excited about service in the gospel. Luckily, his dad is a great example for him to follow!
