Sweet Relief with the Society of Women

Thanks mom for getting tickets for all of us to go to Salt Lake to the R.S. Broadcast. We loved the time we spent laughing and sharing and talking about (missing!) Shirlee. We wish your were there sis.

It took about 10 seconds for us to devour this delectable dessert! Five spoons were all fighting for their chance to sink into the haagen daz, fudge and caramel. Oh...sweet heaven.

The conference was terrific. I know we all felt the spirit and felt the love of our Savior through our leaders. The thing that struck me the most was when President Uchtdorf shared a scripture that I have heard thousands of times. It was one of those times when the spirit taught me new meaning and depth to something I thought I already understood. Here it is...
"This is My Work and My Glory, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." In other words, I am the Lord's pride and joy. We all are. And he wants to see us safely home.

A little window shopping after the meeting was (of course) on the agenda. This was my find that I left at the store so that someone else can enjoy it.

Glad to know I was the topic of conversation. I was jealous that you all got together. Fun times.

What fun! Made me a little nostalgic too to see you and Shar and Shanda and your mom too!

Hey Shelly... I saw your blog off of Audra's, so I thought I would say hi. I can't believe it's been 14 years since we were roommates at Ricks. Oh, how time flies. It looks like you are enjoying life, and you have such a beautiful family. Keep in touch!! ~Denise
