Ophir Day

There is an old mining town called Ophir just across the lake. Every year they have a one day celebration called 'Ophir Day'. We were invited to go this year, so we thought we would check it out!

The corn was scrumptious!

There were bouncers!

The kids got to dig for cash!!

These are some of the spoils of the games.

Apparently not enough action for the teenagers.

All in all, we had a really good time! We did have a moment of panic when we lost the two boys and for the life of us we could not find them. We scoured the whole town! (took about 10 minutes) and finally found them in the camping trailer of a relative of a relative. Doing what? Video games of all things. So much for the great outdoors!
